I was reading on 7D2D that sweet FX is a good way to speed up the game and make it look better. I did some searching and its pretty vague what it is and how to install it.
Is sweet FX a driver package or is it a driver add on?

I have an amd 280x

you generally (if I remember correctly) have to drop a copy into each root folder that you want to apply post processing on. Then edit the .cfg file(?) to tailor the effects for that specific game.

I saw something like this, there was a special startup location. I hate screwing around with stuff like this but I am up for adventure. Wondering if anyone here has used it?

7 days runs pretty good on my machine but the lighting is all strange it can be too bright & too dark

It's been a while but I used it for BF3. It was a nice change from the default blue tint garbage.

I am using it. I would try with curve filter for that issue. You got any experience with photoshop and how curves work?

Zero point zero. I did see a recommend preset for 7 days.

I also have a friend who plays with us on a mac. He's impacted by a unity issue and apple not supporting the old driver. His terrain is very dark, I'm wondering if this could nit be a fix but a improvement.

Thanks for the info.

I'll assume since its not a driver it doesn't screw up anything else correct?
