I was about to purchase this at Best Buy last
week for $30+. I found my old Links 99 manual...
So I made the order. $3.50, can't beat that.
Doesn't quite match my $49 TDK 12/10/32 burner,
but it does give me a chance to use it again.
This is one of the few non-gore games that I enjoy.

Have any of you ever played this game online? was wondering if it was any good. could make the game more exciting to go head to head with other players.

I have played MS Golf `99, 2001, and Links 2000 online. If you find some good people to play with then it can be fun. I have had some issues in the past at the Zone due to dropouts and quitters though. The Ladder was a good place to meet up with some good people, I haven't played in a bit though. It is worth trying if you are interested as it can be fun.

Thanks Broadwayblue. I have played every version of Links from its inception. This is a great deal. I used to play on Mplayer quite a bit. It can be a lot of fun.

The link says the product is no longer available. Scrolling thru all 330 PC games carried at etoys yielded no Links 2001 either. They apparently have pulled it or sold out of it. I was raring to buy (still running Links 99).
