Plantronics Voyager 510

Actually, I have the 510SL which includes Office Base Station, Travel Charger, Car Charger and a few other things.

It's the best Bluetooth earpiece I've used thus far. A key benefit being that I can seemlessly use it with both my office phone AND my mobile phone. Sound quality is exceptional, even in the car (the noise cancellation helps quite a bit). It's very comfortable to wear.

It's a pricey piece, but well worth the expense for my use.

Yep, Office phone plugs into the base station. Range is rated at 33ft but I've maintained clear communications to about 50 feet.

Will it work with a bluetooth enabled PC?
The spec sheets states connectivity with any bluetooth enabled pc/laptop. Voice dialing, talk time, range, dimensions, accessories. PDF Specs

Liking it more the more I use it. Nice to not to have a different headset for the office than for my mobile. More than once I've left the office with my CS50 on. Now it doesn't matter.

The 510SL replaced both my Motorolla HS850 AND Plantronics CS50. I had thought my Moto worked pretty good but the Plantronics Voyager is in a completely different league.

If there's a downside to it thus far compared to my previous devices it's that the Plantronics CS50 (Office wireless) has a range of 300ft giving me convo throughout 1/3 of my corporate building as opposed to 30-40ft with the Voyager. If I really need to carry on a converstation that far out though I'll just transfer the call to my mobile.

I'm not sure whether to keep or sell it.
I had the 820, then got the 850; thought they both performed about the same. While riding in my car, frequently was told by the people I talked to that I sounded like I was in a wind tunnel; but if I just put my Blackberry (7100g) on speakerphone and set it on the seat beside me they heard me just fine. It could have been the particular performance with my mobile but I just wasn't impressed with them after the new gadget gee-whiz factor wore off.

Compared to the Plantronics Voyager 510s, the Voyager wins hands down (for me). You could give me a HS850 for free and I'd still pay out of pocket for the Plantronics kit.

1. Fit and feal are excellent (forget it's there, doesn't fall off)
2. Sound quality is great (people I'm talking to don't know I"m on a headset)
3. Can seemlesly use with office phone AND mobile phone.
4. Doesn't look like I have a cockroach on my ear.

Just used my HS-850 for the first time and I can't complain. There's a bit of static in it when I get about 20' or more from the phone but I can deal with that.

It's pretty lightweight, too.

The friend I was talking to said I sounded clear.

How does yours work in the car or in mild wind? Mine actually worked pretty good if in quiet surroundings but it seemed to drowned out pretty quick of too much ambient noise were present.

My Plantronics 510SL maintained a clear connection toabout 40-50 ft the first few days and now it gets static beyond 30 (30 is rated range). Very clear audio and mic in all other respects though.

Something I thought was kind of cool with the 850 is the pulsing blue glow. First time I noticed it was while driving at night. Was on a convo and noticed blue reflections pulsing in the car. As a car passed me a girl pointed at me and that's when I realized the blue glow was coming from the earpiece, duh. Kind of cool.

Did fine in the car the other day. I've only used it a few times. I'm not sure what the expected battery life is on it but I'm going to test that out this weekend and see how performance drops as the battery wears out.

Yeah...and the pulsing is...ummm...interesting. I almost feel like a Borg. ;)
