it would be a bit weird if it weren't a musical
i liked it more than i thought i would. even with sondhiems wierd atonal music. i've heard some of his stuff in the past and didn't like it. it somehow works in this demented film though. and yes, most violent musical ever;) lol

I really liked it. It shows that Tim Burton, Helena Bonham Carter, and Johnny Depp can all do things considered 'out of their comfort zone' and still come out on top. I was quite impressed with everything about it.

Watched it last week.....good adaptation of the Barber of Seville....the opera, which is why Sweeney Todd is a musical....it's based on a "musical."

I watched the movie during the holidays with my sister and cousins. Not the type of movie i would normally go to the theater for but i enjoyed it quite a bit.

Is it wrong that i had a craving for a meat pie afterwards?

Not all musicals blow.

"Little Shop of Horrors", anyone? Steve Martin is kickass in that movie.
