well i didnt get around to sending it in to them untill the 5th of July, i was just too damn busy with school to deal with it, anyway just heard back from them today that they are fixing it for FREE regardless of the fact that the camera is 4 months out of warrenty

<-- :music: dooing the hgappy dance :music:

😀

yea I've had good experiences w/ nikon warranty. I dropped my camera onto concrete, they fixed it no questions asked. About a year later, it broke again, they fixed for free again.

very nice indeed.

Always nice to hear a manufacture look after the customer 🙂

Heh, I was kidding due to the fact that your camera is getting repaired and that's the whole point of this thread, yet it always seems like people ask for pics without reading.

Glad Nikon didn't pwn you 😀

Glad you got your cam fixed free man.

first time one has ever died for me, ive had a nikon for over 10 years, fam has had them for about 40 years, never had one break untill now

and yes i realize you were being scarastic, but that commen is still pretty retarted

🙂

Nice. I hope my D70 doesn't die. In the other thread you said that the newer ones didn't have this defect, which is good, because I just got a D70 last month to replace my F100 as my main body. I have like 1000 exposures already.

Nikon, Canon, you can't really go wrong with either brand.

BTW-I've had Canon gear for 7+ years now. Never had a bad lens and never had a camera break or stop working for me.
