[Sweclockers] Witcher 3 Benchmark

So Sweclockers are out with their benchmark. I trust them, because they are very thorough and they do their homework - which is again seen because they completely exclude the disaster that is HairWorks for both NV/AMD card, as well as the fact that the jump from high to ultra is very small.

Here's their benchmark:

9880

The 1440p and 4K benchmarks are available on their website.

Basically at 1080p - the most popular resolution according to Steam Survey(1440p and above get less than 3%) - the game seems to run pretty fine even if it is taxing.

So this contradicts the previous doommongering, in part because the other (early) sites didn't do their homework. Some stuff still needs to be fixed but it isn't nearly as bad as the early propaganda stated it, again, because of poor benchmarking decisions from the early sites.

That benchmark is not going to be great. Its just walking through with a horse. For real gameplay might be much worse.

TW3 is not any problem to AMD gamers, since it don't uses Gameworks to cripple AMD performance.

Unlike Project Cars...

Looked about right for r9 290, and also you cannot disregard the other benchmarks because you can't compare High vs Ultra. GTX 960 still sits pretty close to GTX 780.

But the game is very playable with older systems.
