Sweating profusely on 140 degree subway platforms means you could be a terrorist!

New York subway and bus riders are being told to look out for passengers with clenched fists, or who are sweating profusely, or reek of excessive cologne _ all possible indicators of a suicide bomber.

Anything to combat terrar!

Soon they'll issue notices to knock the sweaty cologned people unconcious or just shoot them in the head a few (or seven) times.

Excessive cologne, LMAO! What will they come up with next?

I'd be willing to bet that most of our "security" measures have never and will never stop a determined terrorist.

Don't hesitate to alert the authorities of anyone you see sweating on the subway! Especially on a day like today! Can they get any more ridiculous?

So you can close your eyes to some-one who seems nervious and is also carring a backpack and a overcoat.

That would seem to match the profile.

Better to err on the side of caution. Happened in England, why could it not happen here?

The people here that choose to ignore the obvious should be seated closest to the most suspect.

You mean like the OBVIOUS fact that the Homeland "Security" measures are all for manipulation of perception and/or political gain, and have nothing to do with actual security?

Of course. How do you prove that something was actually prevented?

The British did a good job of preventing that young Brazilian man of continuing to breathe when they pumped him full of lead.. right? ;)

Attacking Iraq has prevented Terrorist attacks worldwide.. right?
