swear filter

why are the actual swears disallowed when words like sh!t or sh|t are just fine. Its not like people can't tell the difference. Is fsck or fvck fooling the little kiddies out there, leaving this forum friendly to all ages? Must be some stupid kids, but then again the ones down my street don't get out of the way of my fvcking car so maybe they are all that dumb.

Imagine...this place would become a free-for-all. Things are the way they are, as it creates less work.

I've noticed that some swear words have been posted. But most people do seem to change them (even me, in fact i did in my last post in another thread!)

well its just as easy to break the swear filter, but of course you get banned for posting the actual word, though sh|t is perfectly acceptable
