i used to ping 30 to a ton of servers in quake, and about 2 days ago i started ping 100 EVERYWHERE. wtf is going on? i want to call swbell and ask them but i already know what they are gonna tell me "power cycle your router and modem sir"... so does anyone know what i can do about this?

Power cycle your modem first, then call SBC, keep raising hell with them...

Ba$tards temninated my DSL last week, took 4 days & a dozen phone calls to shame them into doing their jobs.

Always ask who you're talking to, & ask for their identifying number, if they don't give you that, ask what department they work in.
