Swapping Vista & W8 installations

Rig in sig has Vista x64 installed, and I have a second HTPC (Q6600, 560Ti) with W8.1 on it. I am considering doing completely fresh installs of Windows to put 8.1 on my main gaming rig, and Vista on the HTPC.

Will I run into any problems if I formatted both computers, installed Windows and re-activated via Microsoft online?

Is the vista an oem version? If not Id say you would be fine swapping.

Vista is a retail boxed version.

(speaking of which, I'd have to dig up the DVD & box again...)
