Swapping HD with OS loaded

Can't get XP to load on older system, can load XP to hard drive on newer system, but how do I get the hard drive to boot when installed w/XP on the other system.

Did you install XP on one computer than take the Harddrive out and place the harddrive in your other computer? I'm pretty sure that you will have problems. If the Motherboard uses different chipsets, you'll have to re-install...

If I am reading your post correctly, that is my best suggestion.
