I am buying a New Case, Shuttle AN35 ,PC3200 and a ?Vid Card from new egg(waiting on newegg to get the an35) I just took a blow in my new pc budget(trying to get off a 700 celly) Can i keep my HD with Win 2000, since i will have the drivers or is this not possible to use with new combo, i just cant afford HD and XP. i have the money for everything else now??
 
You can keep the HD but to get peak performance, because you are switching chipsets, it'll be best to backup your stuffs and do a new install with your current Win2K so there is no need to go out and buy XP but you'll need new drivers with the new Rig/OS, which can easily be had.
