<< I was looking at me Leadtek Ti200 card that I bought a silver orb for and I was noticing that the stock fan only has a two pin fan header.. My orb has a 3 pin. the orb also come with a 3 pin to a molex converter.. Should I just use the molex or can I use the header on the card some how? >>
Use the molex! It's a good thing you brought this up in the forums. The orb draws more current than the stock fan does, so plugging it into the fan header on the card may draw too much current from the card and cause the card to short out. You can actually fry your card this way!! They intentionally give you the 3 pin molex converter to make sure that you either use a 3-pin fan connector on the motherboard or a 4-pin molex connector.
I'd recommend using the 4-pin molex unless you really want to monitor the RPM's of the orb, in which case use a free 3-pin header on the motherboard.
Hope this helps!
