Swapping an AMD 2200+ original for a 2100+ Rev b worth it?

I have one of the original XP 2200+ CPU's and if pushed it might do 2Ghz, but nothing above that no
matter what and I have water cooling.
Now I hear that the new 2100+ REV B's from Newegg for $93 shipped are doing as much as 2.5Ghz, but
more often 2.2-2.3 Ghz.

I do quite a bit of video encoding and bumping up the speed would be nice.
I just ordered some of the new Twinmos 3200 memory so I am trying to elimate that as a potential OC problem.

Should I just chill and waite for the next CPU's( Opteron etc...) or bite the bullet and get this for $93?

if you want 2.0 just buy a 1700+

they are doing 2.0 to 2.1 (lucky people are getting 2.2)

for only what... 56? 58? i can't remember...

If O/Cing potential is wht u r lookin @...yeah the 2100+ (T-bred B) o/c better than the 2200+ (T-bred A). If u already owned a 2200+...save the $$ for something else. At 2GHz clock speed, I would its already ass kickin. ;)

i would say just get the highest FSB with your 2200 and PC3200 ram, that's a good chunk of the benefit from overclocking anyway. just drop your multiplier low enough to do 200 FSB...

on the other hand if you find someone who doesnt care jack about overclocking, trading your 2200 for their 2100 would be a good idea.
