I absolutely hate this video card BS. I went from a V3 that worked to what's suppose to be a state-of-the-art card, DLd the detonator 6.31 drivers (yes) yet none of my favorite games run.
I previously uninstalled 3DFX tools, 3DFX from the registry, removed voodoo and 3dfx files found in file search.
UT starts in Direct3D rendering but using the same settings I was using before (1024x768, 16 bit which I've used since first using 2 V2s SLI without problems), it'll crash (lock up) in 1 minute. The game runs but me (the player) is frozen and yes, I've tryed moving my POS SB Live card to different PCI slots too as I've read elsewhere before when the sound skips (repeats) at a lockup. I've un-installed/re-installed the game too, doesn't help. Ideas?
Q3 doesn't run but get a blue screen (not a BSOD) and get 2 error messages: "Glide fatal error, grSst select: non-existant SST" followed by "Not a wicked 3D voodoo2 board (glide2x.dll). Board with multitexturing is required. Use the other version of the driver with one texture unit" Does anyone know what that means and how I now can fix Q3?
Q1 and Q2 play, so at least something works.

You'll have to re-install all of your games so they can re-detect your new video card. Otherwise they still think you have a V3 and when they try to load up the libraries for it, they fail.

If that doesn't solve all your problems a complete format of C: followed by a new install of Windows and all of your games should do the trick.
