swapped graphics card on computer leads to process error

Hi, I've swapped powercolor 7870 myst edition to a geforce 9600GSO just as a placeholder, however, when I swapped it in, without touching anything else, there was a process error from the motherboard (asrock fm2a75m-DGS), I've tried replugging the power cables, clearing CMOS, changing fan orientations, but nothing worked, can anyone on the forum please help?

I assume process error means it wont even get past POST, so it cant be a driver issue. OP needs to clarify whether this error occurs at powerup or during windows boot.

Have you tried putting the 7870 back in to see if the error goes away?

Is it an error message like this?
