That's pretty awesome. It should definitely get Swappa some more business!

swappa charges way too much of a fee. i've always been able to get much more for my old phones by selling on fs/ft.

I was looking at their site but couldn't figure out how much of a fee they charge, never used it but I had been considering it.

I just did some searches and it looks like they charge buyers a flat $10 fee when they buy an item. Of course this is all from outside sources; they don't publish that anywhere on their site.

Hmm, they say they have no seller fees, which is what I would use it for mainly (selling).

I find that on this site, people do a lot of low-balling. I rather not deal with it.

It's a $10 flat fee. You can pay an additional $5 to make your listing stand out and show up 1st in listings. Besides that the only other fee involved is Paypal. All in all much cheaper than selling on Ebay.

This. Better than Craigs List too, less low balling. And you don't have to explain what 'root' is or tell buyers they need their own SIM or whether the device will work on a carrier or not.

They have had the checker for awhile as you need to verify your phone prior to listing. I have sold a few phones and bought several from Swappa. Just keep your eyes open and you can find some deals.

Much better deal than eBay as they charge 10% eBay fee.

Swappa at $10 plus the $5 flat fee if you want your listing as a featured listing is a bargain IMO. It gets a lot of action as well, but you deal with lowballers everywhere.

If you are selling newer phones (S4, One, etc.) your eBay fees get into the $50 range as compared to $10-$15 on Swappa.
