Swaped Drive to External Enclosure HELP!

Hey Guys,

I swapped my boot drive out to an external enclousre and now it won't boot. I get the loading bar across the bottom of the screen, then the XP loading screen flashes then it reboots.

I've tried repairing the MBR (fixMBR) in the recovery consol, no luck.

xp wont boot off USB without some mods due to the way it tries to handle usb devices on bootup afaik.

for some basic info. might be easier to put the drive back inside tho
