Swap partition necessary for Win2k??

My copy is on it's way and I was just wondering if that was necessary to have. I've got 30GB, so I've got room. I just wanted to know so I can plan for it.
 
Yes, its better to have a separate partition.. I put mine as drive c: . The first partition is the fastest..
 
if you wanna dual boot. just install 2k from windows 98. it works fine that way. it'll setup a dual boot, and give you a menu upon startup, to pick what os to boot.
