Here's some highlights fromt his article detailing how bad this stuff is for you:

Cholesterol: 690mg - 231% of Recommended Daily Value
Saturated Fat: 21g - 104% of Recommended Daily Value

Amazing. And this is just one meal. If this was your breakfast, I doubt you'd live long enough for lunch.

I'd eat that if it was fresh, but that frozen crap is just nasty - look at those eggs. WTF is up with those? I don't care for those little brown 'n serve sausages either, but you could just add more bacon.

Who cares what's in it. Eating fatty foods does not make people fat. Not working off the food makes them fat. It's simply imput versus output.

that is actually pretty good.

all the hungry man dinners are pretty tastey.

my favorite is beer batter chicken with cheese fries.

That meal is very similar to what a lot of people get at like Sharis or Denny's or Elmers.. etc.

<-- read the link with a 740 calorie Grilled Stuft Burrito in his left hand...

It's all good.. unless it's microwave-cookable tv-dinners... I love breakfast food... but that stuff concerns me not because of the statistics but the way it looks after being microwaved. Nasty.

1320 calories is what I just had ... and the cholesterol level is still pretty low.

I saw one of these in the grocery store yesterday (same thing but slightly different choice of food items in it) and it had 125 carbohydrates and 23 grams of saturated fat. Definitely not a Atkins friendly, or South Beach friendly, or even human friendly.

Swanson's breakfasts aren't exactly great. The supermarket used to carry a variety of these pretty good frozen omlettes though. Now they just carry the 5 cholester...cheese one.

But it has only 26% of the recommended daily carb intake...so it must be low-carb!!! I'll take one!!!

Heh.. if you were going to eat one of these breakfasts, you might as well just grab the stick of butter out of the fridge and start wolfing it down straight.

Bah, I'm sure a #3 Biggie-sized at Wendy's is worse than that. And I have like 4 of those a week.
