Hi.
First post here
here's my scene:
I have Thermaltake's VA4000BWS SViking case.
this case has 2 fan controllers for the front & rear 120mm fans.
these are kinda noisy, especialy if used above minimum RPM.
I am planning to buy me x2 Scythe S-FLEX fans and plug'em to the potentiometers instead those TT ones., only problem I have is that I don't know HOW ?
the TT fans use:
* 2 wires connected to 4-pin molex for voltage.
* 2 wires connected to case controller by 2-pin connector.
* 1 wire connected to motherboard by 3-pin connector (for monitoring).
sum it up to a 5-wire fan !
I see most fans today are 3-wire / 4-wire.
Is there any way I can use the case's controllers with 3-wire fans
