SVCompucycle gets the award for fastest order processing/shipping - 63 minutes!!!!

Holy crap! I'm just blown away. I have bought from them before and gotten excellent service, so that's why I went back.

I order some stuff from them today. About 30 seconds after I clicked the final order button, I got my "Got your order" confimation email. The time was 2:15PM.

At 3:18PM, I got another email: "Your order number XXXXXX has shipped, your UPS Ground Tracking number is xxxxxxxxx"

One hour and three minutes! That's gotta be a record...way to go, SVC!!!!

Blew me away, that's for sure. Last time I ordered from them, I place my order very early in the morning. About mid afternoon I got the confirmation of shipping email and I thought that was just The Cats' Pajamas! They outdid themselves!

I placed an order with them a week and a half ago for some case fans and SCSI cables and terminators. Got my e-mail confirmation of order being shipped the same day. Checked UPS on the scheduled order delivery date and it says "delivered" except somewhere else! So UPS sends me on a wild goose chase, SVCompucycle insists they gave me the correct tracking ID. Two days later, turns out the gave me the WRONG ID, and my order was NEVER PROCESSED! Get another e-mail saying the "replacement" (??) order has shipped. Check the UPS site and it says scheduled delivery is February 4th!!!! They fvck it all up then don't have the decency to send the order by overnight? Pisses me off....:|

They have an account with the shipper, & have generated a shipping label with a tracking number.

$10 says the shipper does not yet have the package.

I know that UPS won't pick it up until tonight...that said, it's STILL THE FASTEST PROCESSING TIME I'VE EVER SEEN! I want to buy more stuff just so I can see that fast action again!

i say that's better than throwing a few heatsinks into a box.

Yeah, they were pretty good when I bought.... whatever it was I bought from them. Think it mighta been an AX-7, crap I forget. Good service though.

I personally am having issues with SVC so far.

I ordered some items and gave them all my info plus CC info

they emailed saying they got my order
got another email saying my CC addresses didnt match and i needed to update my address and send them my CC phone number so they could confirm

I checked with my CC Company and i gave them the same exact address as i have on file with them, and they had already charged a "temp authorization" to my card, meaning everything was ok


that was over 24 hrs ago and i still havnt heard anything in response to my email, im kinda p/o

They don't update their product stock frequently. One time I ordered a Purple Cold Cathode kit and got a white light instead. They asked me by email after I put a neutral on reseller ratings if I got the wrong light and I replied yes but they never sent a replacement even though I offered to send the white bulb back. Over the past few months, their service and products have been getting crappier. I sure hope they change. Last year I used to order a lot of fans and cables from them and would get speedy service.

I have seen (not me, people i know) that if your billing and ship-to addressess don't match it creates problems and typically means another 24 hours before they can ship...can't help anyone there.

They've done right by me so far...no complaints.

they beat that on my last order. it was just under an hour from placement till when I had the tracking number.

Of course, one of the CCFL inverters I bought was broken, and it has now been 7 days (5 working days ) since they recieved it. ( last saturday according to my tracking) and I have yet to hear back despite me e-mailing them.

WTH is a CCFL inverter? Lesse; "inverter" gotta be a power thing...CCFL...Cold Canadian Frog Legs? Crappy Canadian Frosted Lemons? Condensed Cannuck Frigid Legumes? I dunno.

But those guys at SVC try the best they can. I went to the store a few times, theres only 3 guys working there, usually in the back working hard. I talked to them why some people cant get their orders quickly, they say some people just can't figure out what "shipping address must be on file" means, or they just have a great deal and run out of inventory. They run a good shop.

is it a decent sized store? i should have gone to them to get a usb 2.0 external enclosure i just ordered from newegg.. could have saved $6 on shipping. gotta stop by and check the place out.

ya dont see too many mom and pop computer stores anymore. only computer stores i goto are fry's and central computers in newark.
