SVC Shipping

I was just about to order from SVC and I was wondering since the UPS Ground Residential and the Super Saver Shipping are about the same price which one is faster.

UPS Ground can be as quick as next day or as slow as 1.5 to 2 weeks depending on locale/distance..most Super Saver(FedEx' version ) is 3 days..ymmv

I'd go with Fedex - they're usually faster and they come at around 1-2pm unlike UPS which has ALWAYS delivered my stuff after 5.

I don't believe SVC uses Fedex Saver, like Newegg does. I am guessing there Super Saver shipping is much like Amazon, except no matter what, they always use DHL. I just placed an order a few days ago and have yet to get any info from them, or I would let you know for sure, hopefully by Monday. I have always had good luck using Priority Mail shipping from them, usually in between the cost of UPS Ground and 3 Day Select, and gets to you in 2-3 days, 3 in my case since I am on the east coast.

Super Saver Shipping at SVC isn't actually Fedex Super Saver...twice now I've selected that, and they've shipped by USPS standard mail instead (not Priority) :roll:

Wish I knew that you could pick your order from them if you want to, when I ordered. Could have saved on shipping.
