so.. what's your goldengate sitting on? I'm curious as how high of a cpu it can take... i ask mainly because i'm building a case and need the lowest profile hs i can get... and this one is nice and short and seems to perform nicely.

I was able to find two reviews that may help with Goldengate info.

I had it sitting on a T-bird C 1.4 @ 1.6ghz on my old A7V133. Temps were around 46C-48C under load with a Delta Black Label 7K screamer. Its a very nice HSF and dirt cheap now, but after my 8045, I'll never go back to a 60mm fan unless chips get much cooler.
