After running without a problem for about 3-4 weeks, my Golden Gate clip popped off my CPU and my HS+F fell onto my video card. This has been one hell of a problem, because it caused my 1.33T-Bird to fry and I think it has damaged my Epox 8K7A+ board too. Why did this happen??? I purchased a new T-Bird, but I'm afraid to use my Golden Gate. Do you think this could happen again, or did I do something wrong. Maybe the clip wasn't all the way on properly? I've had it on and off approximately 10 times experimenting with the temps between it and the SK6.

(A 10 cent clip has cost me 2 new CPUs (fryed my friends too through stupidity) and maybe a motherboard for a total of about $375):(

The only thing I can think of is maybe the clips weren't fully all the way in on the socket latches. Pressure/gravity kept tugging the clip away until it finally popped loose.
