Hey guys/gals,

I found a really easy way to install/remove socket A coolers like the SVC GC68. Use TWO screwdrivers! I use one to push down on the clip vertically. The other screwdriver is behind the clip and I use it to push out. Using this method, I was able to carefully modulate my force--no more slipping--and prevent further bashing of my motherboard. Yes--I said "further"

Of course, to do this, you'd need to either remove the mobo, or insert the horizontal screwdriver through the I/O ports area of the case. I don't have an I/O cover, so it was not a problem for me.

I found it was pretty easy to install if you remove the fan, install the heatsink, then put the fan back. Got the clip on in like three seconds with no problems at all.
