Did a little digging.

Absolutely no info on the SVC model number but did find something that looks the same:

http://www.titan-cd.com/d5t_n.htm

Specs on the fan are just a little different, perhaps SVC is putting their own fan or Titan just has a newever version.

Reviews say the titan has a cool alarm that sounds when the fan fails, but SVC does not mention that.

Here's a review of the titan, not necessarily the same HSF:

Overclockers Cafe review of 3 Titans

Review also includes the titan MT1AB which they seem to like. It's a strange looking contraption that has two 60mm fans mounted verticaly in a sort of finned tunnel.

Weird Side Air flow with 2 60mm fans

Anyone using Titan products out there?

Bump!!!!!

One last time!

Thanks!

Also any chance this monster will fit one of those $57 ECS SiS 735 MBs everyone loves????

Is ATI just a little better than Nvidia or a Lot better?

Is anyone out there???

Thanks!!!!

OK, this is the same heatsink that i am putting up on my site also. It's a pretty decent performing heatsink. Overclockers did a review of the sink w/a much higher rated fan. HERE

It'll fit on pretty much every board that can fit a 60mm fan. That's what's special about this beast, it can fit on any board and use an 80mm fan. If you're not overclocking, this hs/fan combo should be fine. Use arctic silver and have decent airflow and you won't know the differnce (except in noise).

SVC now has it on sale for 17.95, reg price is 19.95. The review that Overclockers did doesn't sound too good, so I'll prob pass

I would so much trust this one oh so much more. With Alpha ya can't go wrong, and SVC has a pretty good deal on it. ASII is all ya would need, oh and a motherboard to put it on. But if ya can afford it, the 8045 is even better :).

I was considering the Alpha as well but I have a Shuttle AK31A and I guess you gotta mod part of the fan for it to fit.

ya, hte overclockers review didn't really make it sound all that great. As far as kingwin making it? i doubt it. I didn't mention that i sell it also. This is essentially a generic heatsink. It is made it china i beleive and hte heatsink is sold to many people. A lot of these are sold. If you aren't into Overclocking, this heatsink will be fine. If you are, then go w/the alpha, sk-6, golden gate, or anything else that's COPPER! You need copper to survive Overclocking =).

<plug>ps: check out my site for the alpha's also =). ehhehe...</plug>
