OK, here's the deal. We did that photo for our website http://www.hayabusazone.com
When I took the photo, the machine was off. My son put the 202, shadow and all, in it in Photoshop.
One of the local cops was hanging out in the shop that day and when he saw it he thought it was very funny wanted a copy.
It was then I decided to write the letter. Since then, a Burbank policeman has told us that there are copies of the letter are posted all over at the P.D. They think it is really funny.
There were no bad response letters received by the paper as everyone got the joke.

I don't care about the picture, I assumed it was faked in the first place.
The letter is what's important.
