A member answered my post on Nforce 2 mother boards. He said he had a Shuttle AN35 Ultra motherboard,xp 2500 Barton and 512mb ddr 2700 ram. I need to talk to him again. THANKS

My question for you. Why did you choose pc 2700 ram and not 32 or ddr 400? also, Which ram slot did you place it in? Sorry about tje large type. I need it at times/ Thanks curt100 I am impressed with your set up, it stability,etc.

if you run a processor (or are overclocking) with a fsb of 166, you only need the pc2700. if you're running a fsb of 200, you'll need the pc3200. i'm using some geil pc3200 below the rated speed (pc2700 spec) on my 2500+. works fine.

my system: an35n ultra / barton 2500+ / 512mb geil pc3200
