Suspicious activity detected

Just had that message show up on my Firefox "speed dial" (with AnandTech forum pages set on them): "Suspicious activity detected".

I then had to do a Captcha test.

Why?

That is a result of our bot-detection system. It will sometimes incorrectly flag legitimate users, usually if they're behind a VPN or obscuring tracking/cookies/javascript with browser extensions.

It's generally not a problem and you should not repeatedly see that after you complete the captcha. If you continue to be presented with a captcha test, please let me know.
