Suspend to Ram doesn't work.. help

I enabled the ACPI power management and S3 (STR:suspend to ram) suspend in the bios menu,
But whenever I try to wake up the PC, I only get black screen.
I can see there is signal going into the monitor because monitor is awake.. but it's just black screen.
Fans spins, CDRW spins.. II'm not sure of the HDD because it doesn' make much sound..)
I dind't do much with my Win98 (OE) simply because I did't know what to do with it..
Is there something that I'm missing?
Oh and I get this one long beep when it starts t wake up,.
