Damn their lawyers are good
Judges in Italy acquitted two separate groups of terrorist activities.
1. Early this week they couldn't convict nine Morrocans arrested with "nine pounds of potassium ferrocyanide in their apartment building, along with falsified documents and a map showing the US Embassy. They couldn't prove the stuff was theirs
After their arrest, the nine Moroccans told investigators they knew nothing about the chemicals or the map, saying many people passed through the apartment."

2. "At the time of their arrest, a search of their apartment in the port town of Anzio, south of Rome, turned up more than four pounds of TNT, a belt that could be packed with explosives, a handgun and a map indicating the American cemetery in nearby Nettuno, with two of its entrances marked. "
"The defendants have always denied any wrongdoing. Two were working as fishermen and one as a street vendor at the time of their arrests. They insisted they were set up, and that all the suspicious material found in their apartment had been put there by somebody else. "

Well what you guys think? I think Italy has crappy prosecutors and shows the difficulty in winning cases against terrorists when they are caught before doing something. Maybe they need secret military tribunals like the US
