Apparently the woman the BG was trying to kidnap got away -- the good Samaritan may very well have saved her life. If the gun had not jammed and the BG killed him the woman would have been killed for sure.

Since 9/11 there have been about 168,000 homicides in the USA versus a half dozen foreign terrorist killings here. So, for every American killed by foreign terrorist in the USA more than 10,000 Americans are killed in everyday homicides.

We've had more Americans killed by domestic terrorists than foreign ones in that time -- a lot more.
