OK....I'm trying to add a user's to the "domain.local" i created on SLES9
I'm able to join this domain with a windows XP SP2 machine using the username: "root" and the SLES password.
But i want to be able to join the domain using other user names and passwords.
Ive gone through all the config sections in Yast without any luck
In the section under ( Security and users -//- Edit and create users ) i get an error when trying to add a user, then tryin to launch the "Manage samba account parameters" thing.
The error that comes up is ( Could not initialise samba SID. disabling plug-in. )
I think this could be my problem and solution.
Does anyone know whats going on and how to fix this?
I'm a windows user and only just install my very first linux OS 1 week ago so technical linux solutions will just go over my head please take that into account in your reply.
