I've searched everywhere on SuSe's website for the 64-bit processor version of SuSe Linux. I have heard as early as SuSe 9.1 Pro supports 64-bit processors, but when you go to their site, they only provide "SuSe Linux for i386 Live-Eval" and "SuSe Linux for i386 Personal". Where is the PRO version? I also took a look all around ftp.suse.com, but there are hundreds of files. Anyone have a link or know where to download a CD image of SuSe Linux that supports 64-bit processors?

i'm very noobish at this, but do I need to enter any parameters when loading my network card module during the boot process? also, my network card isn't listed, the 3Com Gigabit LOM (3C940), any substitute network cards to use? btw, i'm trying to do a network FTP install if possible =T

I have the same network card, well it's integrated onto a P4P800. The module you're looking for is sk98lin. It's towards the bottom of the list.
