suse install partition question

I am a linux noob and from reading the start up guide I partitioned my 200 gig disk this way.
1 gig for swap. 20 gig for root (it might be a little large but i got space). and the rest /home.

Is this ok?

I just wanted something simple.

thanks for the advice?

That should be fine, my / has only 12G used on it and that's with 4G in /var/cache/apt/archives which I don't believe SuSe will have.
