SuSE 9 cannot see SAN

I am working with SuSE 9 enterprise server and an IBM Shark SAN. The fabric switch is happy and the SAN sees the HBA in the SuSE box. Seems like the next step would involve a mount command, but I don't know what it is called (as in mount /dev/something). Am I getting close?

Depends on the driver being used. Most show up as a SCSI drive so you should see what device they're attached to in the kernel logs.
