SuSe 9.2 Wireless Configuration

ok, I just started running Suse 9.2 on my IBM T22. I am having some problems with the wireless. When I am at home, I access the house wireless network, and I need to access a different network when I get to work. To do this, I restart my computer to get it to scan for the new network. I am wondering if there is a way to do this without restarting everytime.

First of all, you don't need to restart. You can use iwconfig or any other tool that uses the wireless-extensions to enter information manually. I think both KDE and GNOME have tools which do this.

Waproamd might be what you're looking for, but it says it's deprecated, so it recommends using wpa_supplicant.
