They say on their site it will be out early November... I was wondering if anyone knew something about how to get it earlier or if it is indeed on track for early November... I don't want to waste my time installed 9.1 if 9.2 is just around the corner.

They state in the press release that the AMD 64 bit version will beavailable at the same time and will ship (as has been with previous versions) with the 32bit version.

Novell today announced the November availability of SUSE® LINUX Professional 9.2, providing Linux newcomers and enthusiasts with the latest advancements in open source technology. SUSE LINUX Professional 9.2 comes complete with comprehensive installation media, documentation and technical support and is available for standard 32-bit PC processors as well as AMD Athlon* 64 and Intel* Extended Memory 64 Technology. It is the de facto standard for retail Linux and passes another milestone in the evolution of Linux viability for the mass market.

Can anyone lead me in the right direction of installing SuSe 9.1 64-bit? Got the boot.iso on cd. when i go to FTP system install, it asks for a network module, so when i try to add my network card module, it's not there. I have the 3COM Gigabit LOM (3C940). Any help is greatly appreciated? The howto's on the ftp site dont' seem to explain any of this...
