SuSE 8.1 + GeForce 4 MX420

I have the kernel and GLX files on the comp, but am totally lost on how to install them. I've tried everything the FAQs and Readme files on the net have suggested, but I must be doing something wrong. Can someone please post step-by-step instructions on how I can get the files installed? This is my first time using Linux, so help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

yea, not trying to be an ass, but the nvidia instructions are about as step by step as you can get... I what part of them are you having problems with?
