SOS!!!SOS!!! :)

REally tho, I'm hoping to find an expert on this subject...

I'm trying to kick out patches to all the clients. But the problem I have is I'm not using Active Directory. Micro$ says you if you don't have AD then you have to hack the Registry. Is there anyway to make a batch file to modify this?

Hopefully some IT person here is running a SUserver with out AD...

Thanks for your help!

Just use the Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc at run) then add right click on administrative templates and choose add template. click add and choose wuau.adm. now look under administrative templates/windows components and then windows update. double click the template in the right pane and set it up for your SUS server.

<edit>this is for the client. were you talking about for the server?</edit>

I can send you the reg files from my SUS Server setup in the morning when i get to the office.
You dont need AD to run it, it seems to be working for me just fine.
