Survey - What is your mother tongue?

The title says it all. What is your mother/main tongue. I mean the language you mostly use in your life ( if you learned German as a kid, but moved to the States at 18 and speak English everyday and barely remembers German, answer English

I use mostly English, but my mother tongue is Bulgarian, since I learned it before english and speak it on a daily basis (family).

From experience, most people interested in computers are either "white" or second-generation asian.

I'm aware I ommited a lot of important languages, but well, we'll just have more "others"

My mother tongue is Ukrainian, but I am also fluent in Russian and of course English. I may throw a little Spanish into the mix too

Strange... I also thought that we would be surprised to see how many people are not english speakers here. Maybe the tide will switch!!

might not be the case in the SF bay area. lots and lots and lots and lots of first generation afgans, indians, and asians working in The Valley. but nationwide, i agree, it's going to be mostly english.
