Just curious as to what others out there are running I/O wise on OC'd KT133A chipsets. I've been warned against adjusting the I/O voltage without serious cooling. If you're using any special cooling on the chipset, throw that in too.

I'm at 3.4V I/O on my ABit KT7A, 148/9 FSB. No special cooling. Rig in sig.

Hi!

I run the 3.3 at 3.45 or 3.55. Manny posters here have agreed that io volatge is safe between 3.3 and 3.6.
There were a lot of threads discusting the importance of a better cooling on the chipset but I do not remember of one having problems
with the default HSF.

To be sure I replaced the HSF with a Pentium socket7 HSF. Just choped the corners to fit between the condensators and I have put more thermal paste on the chipset. I still cannot report any improvement but I think the chipset is cooler now.

Your choice.

Cheers,

U can stay up to 3.6v w/ std cooling. Higher I/O voltage will help in O/cing. So if u r not O/Cing, u can stay at 3.3v althou upping it higher will not harm ur components.

Beyond 3.6v is not recommended & it doesn't help O/cing either.

Those who said the staying at more than 3.3v would harm ur components or need a better cooling is certainly not true.
