Survey: How well does NHL 2001 run

i got a cel300a @ 464 and a geforce2MX
i run the game at 1024,768 high detail
the game runs good but not smoothly. most noticeable when using brocast camera view, when a player skates, u can kinda see the ice is a bit choppy. it was the same when i had a voodoo3 and used glide.. this game would run better if there was an opengl option. ive read forums that people with good systems it runs like crap for em too..
so bout u guys? any tweak tips?

i dont really think NHL games by EA sports are that stressful on the CPU or anything. a couple of friends and i have been playing seasons since 99, and in my opinion NHL 200 was the best. if 2001 seems a bit less smooth, its the game, not your system. 2000 was just smoother and better.

I have a Cel 366@550, GF2, and it runs fine here

duh. of course the later, more graphic intensive version is gonna run slower. \

edit: but these games aren't very system intensive at all, hwen compared to Q3. i can run at 1027x768 at a faster fps than Q3 at 800x600 both with all stuffs turned up.
