Survey for my marketing class

I'm a grad student at UT@Dallas. In my marketing class, my group has decided on marketing a bar code scanner that plugs into an internet enabled PDA so you can do price comparisons while you shop. In order to help sell the idea, or to determine that the idea is horrible, I need some anonymous opinions. There are only 12 multiple choice questions on the survey and there are no ads on the site. Thanks for your help.

Survey

P.S. I know this is my first post, but I've been trolling the Hot Deals forum for years.

The idea is that if a person objects to one question, that person will be able to just move on to the next question rather than quitting the survey.

I really think that option should only be a choice in age, gender and income.

Otherwise it should not be an option, IMHO.

You're probably right. A class in survey design and market research is another couple semesters away. Anyway, thanks!

You're welcome.

Thank you for making the survey short and to the point.

Won't the results be a tad bit skewed, this being a forum full of internet saavy geeks? Or does it not matter?

We won't be representing it as a random sample, so it won't matter. Plus, geeks would probably be a target market for the scanner. I actually thought of the idea after finding out that I paid to much at Fry's, so it's geek inspired to begin with.

Yea, an idea like this is brilliant. I would love to be able to see something like that quick and easy in a store, on the spot, of course if it was reliable. It would be great for the consumer too, drive down prices like crazy.
