I sell electronics and appliances. Yep...I sell the plasma/DLP/LCD projection sets you guys keep drooling over. I go to work and watch the game on at least 150 different TV's. I hate my job.
 
Industry and Line of work aren't necessarily the same thing. I develop software for the financial services industry.

not that I make any kind of decent amount of money from writing, but I'm prouder of that work than my IT work 😛

been playing with the idea of getting a masters degree in technical writing to merge the two interests.

Actually, I think he is right. There are probably more people involved in the manufacturing of CDs than finance here. 😉
