How much money do I have? Well, not much. Have a house, have 3 cars, have lots of toys, but less than $10k in the bank accounts....

I have about $2,000.00 in my checking account. I have about $6,000.00 worth of stuff that I could sell tomorrow if I needed to.

My b/f has a lot of money... makes a lot of money... and owns a lot of stuff.

His parents are multi-millionares... own companies, a bunch of houses and rental property and time shares abroad.

I did not know this when I met him... and did not care when I found out. I still insisted on paying my share of stuff and do to this day... but I must admit, I do appreciate him and what he has done for me... I had nothing when I met him, except my daughter and a lot of bills and worries.... he bought the house cash, the cars cash, and for the first time in my life, I am not worried about bills. I really appreciate him and never take for granted.

Clever. The information you gather here, combined with the salary and education level thread you made earlier, will really come in handy when you take up your career in identity theft. I suggest the following titles for future threads:

That depends on your definition of "have." Money in the bank? No, I'm not rich.

Equity in my home? I have a fair amount of that...More than $300,000. Of course I only really see that if I sell my house.

Not rich.

Never will be, but then again, that's by choice.

Used to have money, then didn't have any (living out of car), now have everything I could possibly need/want.
