A senior executive at a speed camera firm was banned from driving for six months Wednesday. Riall is head of Serco's Home Affairs division, which has installed Gatso speed cameras at around 4,500 sites around Britain since 1992.

Most amusing, glad he is not above the traffic laws:laugh:

There will probably be a "software upgrade" quietly introduced in the near future that will compare license plates against a list of known "good" plates.

 Are you saying someone's going to hit the cameras with baseball bats and kill the drivers of cars who work for the camera companies?

No, he's saying that the software update will include a small list of license plates that will be ignored for ticketing purposes. One of which, being this executive's license plate.

That is a good idea!! I think maybe a person reads the plates, though, not the software (?).
