Are there any software to let me control the volume of the speakers? I want my rear speakers to be louder than the front ones.

Should have come with your sound card.

My nvidia built in drivers allows me to do this, so does the Live! I have. Did you install and access the sound card sound level program?

I have a 5.1 Live, but I don't see the controls anywhere.

Silly question but did you load all the software that came with it or just the drivers.

If you did load all software look in the control panel for the Creative software and the controls should be there.

I got a 5.1 that came with my dell, I have the play center but the controls aren't there. I keep trying to update my drivers but it keeps saying it can't detect my sound card. I keep getting the feeling I got some generic version.
