Surround sound setup

Hello,
I have a G5 hooked to Logitech Z-680 speakers and I want to get the bet sound possible. Can I get some setup advise and is there a sound program that will help me tune the position and distance.

There are guides out there for best possible speaker placement for surround sound but you are using computer speakers, I wouldn't expect anything amazing out of them.

Polk Audio has a great setup guide for home theater use, you can try to apply it to you computer surround sound. Scroll to the middle of the page and look under: Setting Up a Home Theater System
